We thank you for choosing SAGEM COMMUNICATION.

You asked where you can find new software for your Sagem mobile phone.

The sofware updates allow to correct functions or add new ones to your
mobile. Please be advised that you can not remove the software which is
specifically loaded for Orange.

You can download these updates free of charge from our web-site
www . planetsagem . com

Once on the site:

-Go to the section " TOOLS " then " updates ".
Scroll down until you find your mobile and your code number.

The different code numbers of the updates correspond to the code found on
the white label inside the back of your mobile. (The n° begins with
25...)

In order to carry out the update :

(NB : depending on the update, step n°5 below may not be necessary)

-1/ Register on Planetsagem as described in the attached procedure.

-2/ Download the update to the hard-disk of your PC,

-3/ Connect the mobile to the PC using a USB or data cable This
softwarecan only be used with a USB or data cable and cannot be downloaded
to your mobile using the infra-red port.or bluetooth. (Remark : The
serialdata cable cannot be used for updating the myX-8.)

4/ Start the programme

5/- Choose the language in which you wish to install it
- Click on " next "
- Tick the box " Accept the terms of the license contract " and click
on " next ".
- Choose " Standard Installation " then " Next "
- Click on " Install ", then " Finish "
- Go to " Start /Programmes/SAGEM/My Sagem Update "

6/ - Make sure the com port selected is the one you have plugged-in to
your mobile
- Make sure the downloading mode is on " Automatic "
- Click on " next "

The download begins. A progress bar shows the state of progress of the
update.
Wait until the download is completed.
Once it has completely downloaded, the message " The mobile is updated
"appears.
